Water Stations

Aid stations providing water and medical support are located at every mile along the 20K race course. Over 300 volunteers provide runners with 30,000 cups of water and 12,500 cups of fluid replacement drink. In 2009, GU20 will be served at selected aid stations.

Each water station has a team captain and up to 40 volunteers. Groups that man the water stations vary from youth groups and boy scout troops to local businesses and friends who have volunteered for many years.
